Guys:
- He already has Stock HID's.
-IS350 already comes with projectors.

Btw, if you wait a bit, your bulbs will get more and more blue as they age. So a couple more months, and they will be bluer.

Phillips Ultinon 6000K.
It's an oem bulb. Gives more of a purplish bluish look that you're looking for.

It's the one with the blue insulator on the bulb.

There like 100 bucks each, sometimes a pair for like 150 slightly used.

Easiest and the best.

Otherwise take your housings apart like the other guy said and bend your sheilds until they look cool to you. It's only the flicker change no light output change. Lot of work but basically free.

2nd option

Don't buy cheap crappy aftermarket 10,000K, 18K 1000,-0000,0000K bulbs or whatever they're up to now. They're junk.

The BMW has the blue line because of the CUTOFF! I cannot stress this enough. Everyone always thinks its blue bulbs, but it is NOT! The ricer market got flooded with blue bulbs because people wanted to emulate the look of the cutoff. If you dont believe me, find a friend with a BMW that has a stock HID system. Stand about 100ft back from the car and stand up fully and facing the car. Slowly kneel down until you can see the bright blue color light. Now move your head even lower, you will only see white light.

In a Lexus or Acura the projector cutoff is very sharp compared to BMW/Benz/Audi. Thus, the blue coloring is much less than a bmw...however it is still there, but just less pronounced. Drive up to a while wall with your lights on. You will see pure white light below the line, but the line itself will be a blue color. Also, getting a bluish colored bulb will decrease light output. The brightest HID bulb is a 4300k, and that is the reason why all cars with stock HID's come from the factory with that color temperature.

Edit: I believe the new GS and IS have the D4S system which is a mercury-free bulb operating at 36v and color temp is 4800k with 3800lm. The older D2S is a mercury bulb, 85V, 4300K, 3200lm. Please correct me if im wrong.
