Hello everyone,

Perhaps, someone here with more knowledge about HIDs will be able to answer my question.
I think I am the only person on this planet who had so much problems with HID kits. I already replaced 10 HID ballasts. For some unknown reason all 10 of them died, on the driver's side. I never had a single problem with the passenger side.

Anyways, here is the question. I want to buy OEM Lexus GS headlights that come with original HID ballasts and bulbs of course. My question is this, I have 2001 Lexus GS 300. If I buy the headlights that were taking off a newer models GS 430 / GS 300, will I have problems installing them ? Do you think the harness and all the wiring the same or different ?

You won't have any problems and the wirring is different. Your kit ballast died because its a none oem brand and they use very low quality components. Stan
