Noop you're right on the money! The best way to figure it all out is to grab a few bulbs and test them out. 5000K originally was intended to replace the burnt out bulb and color match it to the one that's still working if that makes sense.

You wouldn't want to drive around for a while with one light that looks yellower than the other one would you?

Old thread.

It all depends on the projector. In some cases 4300K would look 'whiter/bluer' on certain projectors and more 'yellow' in others.

If your putting them in a quality projector, ie TSX, S2K, LS, then the 4300K would look great.

How about if you're putting the 9006 4300 bulb in the foglighht of a 2nd Gen GS? Will I get all white light to match my headlight?...or will it have a hint of yellow?

If it's going to be slightly yellow, I'll go 6000. Otherwise, I'll do the 4300 kit.

I put a 5000K bulb in my clear fogs and it was an intense white. 5000K in the lowbeams and fogs, 1 yellow, 1 clear fog light.

Here's a pic with 4300k in low beam & fog light. Matches pretty well, imho.

Is that our 4300k kit in the lowbeams or is that OEM HID?
