Generally, yes....but there are a lot of LED bulbs out there that will only last a couple of months due to cheap/shoddy quality.

for people that did this mod to their tail lights, did you get the tail light indicator in the dash to come up?

if your talking about my pix..actually it isnt.. there are 48 LEDS in the rear dome lights.... several people here have seen it and at night it pretty much lights up my entire cabin...i have 20% tint and when they are on you can see inside the car with no problem...

 

Saw these in person this past wed. and they are pretty damn nice.. i need to get moving on getting some leds in the sc.

I changed my rear lights, ie signal and backup, tail and all that to LEDs, here's some advice:

BackUp Light- Don't do it, its actually dimmer, but a sharper color, but not as bright as stock.
Rear Sidemarker (The ones on the rear side that come on when you turn on nighttime lights)- Not a huge improvement, just a sharper color, almost the same brightness.
Rear Stop Light- Pretty dangerous to do, not as bright as stock bulbs, sharper red color, but not as bright.
Tail Light- Not a huge improvement, just a sharper color, almost the same brightness.

Interior dome lights and map lights- Great improvement, pretty much all the change in interior lights have a benefit, except for dash lights and instruament cluster lights.

 

Nice.....great job....thats very bright white.
