98gs400 liscense plate lights
does anyone know what size bulb i need for the rear liscense plate and how to get to the bulb so i can change it i have a 98 gs400

Is there a way to get the kind of light color and output that the new IS/GS have on their license plates? I assume they are using LEDs for their lights. Also where is a good place to get the lights from?

Here's one from the back of the car, flash off. There is a slight tint of purple color when reflected off the silver of my car in real life, but it isn't captured here. The PIAA White/White LED wedge bulbs cost me $25 from a local import auto supply store. The light output is great though, it even lights up the ground around the back of my RX and is very bright compared to any incandescent bulb, expensive yes but worth the money IMO.
