Default has anyone tried this site for HID?

has anyone tried buying HIDs from this site? i am looking for some 6000k HIDs and i have been reading that i should stick to phillips but this site doesnt list what kind of bulbs they use. lmk what u guys think. thanx

Those are definitely not Philips kits (bulbs or ballasts), but they look similar to the Xtreme HID kits from Xenondepot.

yeah, those dont look like philips. Since my middle name is Philip i figured i was destined to buy the Philips kit. Below is a picture of the philips ballast mounted face down on my inner fender. They clearly say they are PHILIPS on the housing. I bought my kit from XenonDepot.com

wow that ballast looks small compared to the OEM lexus ballast


If I had to buy a kit, I'd go with philips. If I wanted to save a bit of money, buy used OEM equipment. Not just lexus, but acura, toyota, etc ballast will work fine. Chances are, OEM components are much higher quality than off-brand ballasts.

the guy uses OEM denso ballasts and oem bulbs (osram/phillips i think)
also has a website www.hidexpert.com where u can get components and the like to.

Adding my 2 cents.

I go my HID kit from www.gohid.com, they were german made.
I got the 6000K kit and I am very happy with them.
