Rebased D2S bulbs

I need to get new bulbs now, one is at the end of its life (purple) and they are all out of alignment. Can I just buy new phillips/osram bulbs and glue the 9006 base on them? Or should i get rebased ones?

just buy rebased....it'll save you alot of headaches trying to do this yourself...which i dont recommend at all.
