Hey Clublexus gang! I've been away from this board for a while (some would say forever) but during the off time I came across a color that can be used for headlamp trim coloring. Its a black night metallic ish hue. In fact I may use it on my next HID retrofit to my own car.

For those who like the Sport Design Lexus Trim coloring found on certain models it kinda looks like that a tad bit or like Aloha_gs's car's headlamp trim. I took a few pics and can upload them in a lil bit. Let me know what you guys think.

I'll only show a couple pics and keep this thread small so you guys can see what this color looks like on your trim. Since I had a couple friend's GS headlamps in my possession I was able to test it on their trims.

Here's one of the actual trim with the stuff on it



and here's another shot of the same trim in a friend of mine's Q45 GS headlamps



In the dark light it comes up as a dark gray/metallic hue yet in the daylight the trim appears more gunmetal in color

The color is black night metallic and is cool because it does a wierd color shift thing where in the daytime it appears gunmetal in nature and in the night its a dark gray sport color. Overall I like it!

Before I gave the lamps back I was able to snap a picture of one of them in action so you can see how the color looks with the 6K Untinon Philips HID bulb burning
