Default I need advice on HID light.

I have a 2006 4runner, it came with projector headlight.
I've read here alot ppl has retrofit BMW or Audi OEM HID projector into SC, so It got me thinkin, is is possible to exchange/swap from Toyota OEM halogen projector to OEM HID projector. Is it possible at all? If it is possible, What brand of OEM HID projector can fit perfectly?

Some of my friends said just buy plug and play HID kit install but I wanna see more option.

I couldn't get anwser from other 4runner forums so I ask here.

Thx for your help.

I would probably just save yourself some money and stick with the projectors you have now. If you get a plug and play hid kit in most cases the bulbs will have the same focal point as your halogen bulbs and with the projectors you have now the beam pattern will be almost uneffected.

you COULD swap projectors in from an audi or a bmw but it will be completely custom and def will not just "bolt on". I dont think the the 4runner ever had an HID housing and im pretty sure Landcruiser housings wont fit.

Well ended up with Xenon depot 6k HID kit. I installed it today. It's awesome. I'm glad I didn't go retrofit, cause I'm not that have spare headlight, time and skill to do it. May be one day. Anyway, I bought the kit and done installation.
