Hey guys,
I was just wondering of the name of the bulbs that are silver coated and look almost clear when off, but when it blinks it blinks amber.
Also. I read the Sticky up top for the part#s from Sylvania. Are those bulb numbers only directly related to Sylvania bulbs or is that a universal part# number that all bulb manufacturers use?

Sorry. I would need these bulbs if I do buy red/clear 98-00 tailights from another CL member. I would want the "chrome" bulbs for the tailight turn signals so during the day, you won't see the reflection of the amber bulb behind the cleared turn signal piece.

I have been using the Stealth Auto bulbs (7440 format) for almost two years now. They are DOT approved and have a lifetime warranty. My main worry would be that they would not flash bright enough in direct sunlight. So far, no complaints from other drivers via the horn or finger.
