of course 6000k headlights and 4300k fogs. i think it looks abit weird when the fogs are "whiter" than your headlights

what i really wanted was the same for both- but meh- i guess the people that voted were right - 6k for the headlights and 4.3k for the fogs.

Well I guess you bought it already, but 3k fogs are always the best imo. Btw - you need some polargs or something for the inner headlight.

i dont understand how you are able to put hids in your foglamps. because i see a lot of gs owners doing it, because i would like to do hid yellows on my 97 es300. are gs' fogs halogen bulbs? or do they sell rebased foglight hid bulbs now? im lost. please inform me.

Whatever bulb # it is for the ES' fog lights, just go on eBay and buy a set of HIDs for that.

www.xenondepot.com

They sell Philips kits with wiring harness and rebased HID bulbs to fit standard halogen housings. I put their H1 4300k color temp HID kit in my LX. Jim Chow did the same kit and did a light meter test and they are 4x as bright as halogen. You can just go to their website or call them to order the right kit to fit in your ES' foglights.

Back to topic, Cliffud...when you install the kit please post pictures.

Is the H1 the bulbs # for the lowbeams on the LX? Same it didn't come with HIDs from the factory. The LX ain't even that high. I seen other SUVs sporting HIDs.

so it is not necessary as lowbeams are with glare, cutoff, etc etc?
and my foglights are the refracted lens. does that matter or no?
Thank you
Charley

no you might get glare and have a weird cutoff....it all depends on how lexus made the lens housing. if you had projectors you would be good to go with basicly no worries.

Quick Reply: hid 6k fogs and 4.3k headlights or 4.3k fogs and 6k headlights?
