LS 400 HID headlamp restore plus new paint
I'm in the middle of restoring the lenses and repainting some LS400 headlights for a friend and I wanted to post up pics for feedback on the paint color/ lense clarity. Look for pics and more info shortly

Thanks guys. I've been without internet access for the past few weeks and my job I have now (don't remind me) takes up like every once of time I've had in the past few months its been hard to keep up with everything.
I'm still around still doing projects when I can however I wanted to showcase what I've been doing with Gammalex so far.
I managed to help with clearing his lenses and wanted to show that off first. Hopefully by the end of the weekend I can have a digicam shot of the finished project but for now I've snapped a couple quick shots from my motorola v710. I'll post up right now....
But first here's the reader's digest version of the story....
We set out months ago to black out his HID LS400 headlamps and clear the lenses of road grime and pittedness etc. However, with painting changes and newer polishing equipment (orbiter etc), we've been able to apply a subtile yet more effective outcome. Take a look at the lense shots I'm posting shortly
If only you can see what kind of pits and road wear and tear were on there before....lets say output should increase at least a few percentage points
Let me know what you guys think....

here's one from this afternoon after I polished them with the orbiter.... oh yeah try 3m rubbing compound(black bottle like 9.99) and then use the 3m plastic polish (white bottle like 6.99). They're awesome and should knock out pretty much all your swirl marks from sanding
