License plate lights for 94 ES300
My license plate lights are out -- so the cops informed my son last night.
Bought the bulbs for them, 
but can't figure out how to access the lights. Anyone know?

On most of the cars, it pops on the outside. So take a flathead and pry it open.
On the GS, I had to access it from the inside. Take the liner out from the trunk top, and access the bulb there.
I'm not sure how the ES is, but it's either one of those.

The ES license plate lights from a '94 are accessed inside the trunk. You have to pull up the plastic piece that runs across the trunk, and remove the trunk carpeting to get behind the tailights. Several bolts hold the tailights to the body, so these bolts have to be removed for the tailights to pop out. From that point on, you should be able to see and access the license plate lights. Hope this info helps out.
