MPH needle below 0 mph

Default MPH needle below 0 mph

i just noticed this today.. any way to fix it? ive pulled the cluster multiple times to put LED's in. but now my mph needle sits below 0 and when im going about 5mph it sits at 0

Sounds like your speedo needle needs to be counter-balanced. I put new LEDs in my ES300 cluster needles and afterwards found the same thing - my speedo needle was resting below the "0" mark when the car was stationary. It was because the new LED inside the needle made it heavier at the tip end than the factory ones. Not sure if the SC has the same style needles as the ES, but if it does, you could try this solution:

Take the speedo needle out and add some counterweight at the base end of the needle. I used a tiny bit of solder melted on the little metal tab at the base (see picture). I just added a very small amount of solder and then tested the needle. Had to do this about 4 times (adding solder, testing, adding solder, testing, etc.) until the needle was resting properly, right in line with the "0" mark on the gauge.
