Default Green tint headlamp?

my car is in the body shop.
one of my headlights had to be replaced on my 01 gs300
the new headlight looks clear. to my knowledge, Lexus has a green tinted headlamp. so now one looks green and one clear. the shop tried to say the old lamp has fade and turned green. i just want to verify that Lexus has the green tint headlamp before i confront them.

thanks AJ

The shop's guess of saying the old lamp has faded to green is incorrect.

The consensus is that '98-'00 headlights are clear and '01+ have a green tint. There's also dark chrome (Platinum) and titanium (Sport Design).

The two different part numbers you sourced are for HID and non-HID housings. The color of the headlights depends on the year or edition.

if im not mistaken, the all come green today. i think they stop making the clear ones unless the suppliers has some in a warehouse.

a good source to check on these is carson toyota.
