Guys, need some help. I just picked up a RMM spoiler that includes the LED brake light. My 2GS does not have a OEM spoiler, therefore, it has the 3rd brake light in the rear window.
My question, when I install the RMM spoiler, I was thinking to cut the brake wire to the 3rd brake light in rear window and connect the RMM LED brake wire from there. I don't want to run the 3rd brake light AND the RMM spoiler brake lights. However, I have a concern if doing this will cause any warning lights to trigger in the car and/or have any negative impacts to either brakes, brake lights, etc. Any help and clarification would be most appreciated guys! Thx!

If your stock third brake light is LED, you will have no problems. Even if the stock is not LED, you will probably be fine. I changed my third brake light bulbs to LED and nothing went wrong. Although I have a different car, the principles are still the same.
If you have any problem with warning indicators you can easily install a load resistor and the problem will go away.
