Slinger,

Check out bjorn and rich at ww.customlightz.com. This is their business and specialized in doing sick retrofits. They did the TSX in mine, delined the lights, and painted the housings to match the car. All this was done in 2 weeks, and I was very happy with the result to say the least. My SC is on the site, so you can check out what yours could look like!---http://customlightz.com/gallery/retrofit/lexus/sc300_1.html

Try pm'ing CL member Lexus4Jess. He makes the brackets that we use for our HID retrofits. Search will help you get answers as well.

What projectors do you use on the retro's?

I am not familiar with the process quite yet on the upgrades so....where do the brackets need to go or be used for? Thanks

I would recommend getting the TSX projectors over the E-line aka BMW. Beamers have fresnal lines in their glass and are fuzzier than the Acuras/Hondas projector lenses. You get a sharp, clean cutoff line. And I do mean sharp. They will also disperse light farther and wider than the latter as the light is not disrupted by the lines on the lens as with the E-line lenses aka Fresnal lenses.

There is not a significant difference, but if you want the best, that will be the difference between those two particular choices.

Add $250-600 for an extra pair of headlights (unless you're going to be headlight less while the retrofit is happening)

$50-100 for the dremel tool required

A great step by step description of retrofit can be found at HERE

I'm on the fence about retrofit vs plug and play. Now that my driver's side light is out I've been forced to do something.

I have a question. Can I use the bulbs and ballasts from an HID PNP kit from xenon depot or MTEC for a retrofit?

I was hoping to try the PNP and convert to a retrofit later or use these if they ever become available.
