Which HIDs look best on a Black IS 350? I NEED YOUR OPINION!

i like stock or the 6000k's only problem i have with stock is the parking lightbulbs don't match up too well with it(168/194 bulb)
for those bulbs you could usually find them in the 6000k color which i guess would be my choice personally.

Did you guys also change your fog lights to match your headlights? I was leaning towards buying a 4300K headlight for my car.. the ones that are white.. i think the blue kind of look cheaps / and i heard that you get poor visiblity.. is that true? Also is it hard to install, or will any car shop install them for me.. thank you

i am going to change my fogs to yellow hid's once spring starts to hit... i've been back and forth with blue or yellow.... and that's what i ended up deciding to do.
check out xenondepot.com i believe there is a sale going on right now for their xtreme hid kits... assuming that you don't already have factory HID's if you already have factory HID's i would recommend the xenondepot bulbs.
you do lose a percentage of light going anything higher than 4300k the higher kelvin you go the more visibility you lose.
it's not hard to install at all...i guess a shop could install it for you... but IMO paying to get HID's installed is silly. GL with it
yeah that's how my car looks now... it's hard to come by a bulb that is just WHITE WHITE rather than white with the blueish tint.

Thanks Batmobile!
That is correct. The main thing when choosing colour temperature is to realize that the higher you go in terms of colour temperature the less actual useable light output you will obtain.
Our Xtreme 6500k kit has been a very popular seller on this board especially now being that its only $224.99!!

Thank you Batmobile and XenonDepot!
I'm willing to spend a 100 more and get the 4300K Kit and get a whiter light + more visiblity.
Is this all I need to buy Steve?:
H11 4300k XenonDepot HID Conversion Kit.
And how will that look with stock fog lights? If anyone has pictures of 4300K please post. I'll greatly appreciate it. Also what tools are needed to install the HIDs on my IS 350. I'm really clueless in installing gadgets to cars so I'll need step by step instructions. Thank you all for the quick responses! Its great!
And one last question: Will i need to change the coverings for the headlights in order to use HIDs? I'm not sure if the stock headlight coverings Lexus provided are suitable/efficient for HIDs.
Thank you!

Hi Lexus52,
Yes, the H11 4300k kit is what you need.
I actually have some pics of the 4300k kit installed in an IS. Please email me direct at info@xenondepot.com and I will be more than happy to forward them to you.
In tems of the coverings, are you referring to the dust covers on the back of the headlights?

Hey Steve, Thanks for the pics and responses!
And other guys thanks for the great posts, they're all really helpful!
When i mentioned "coverings", I meant the headlight covers which are placed ontop of the actual bulb/HID lights (the things which will be the most exterior part of the headlight - which will come in contact with water if it rains, etc). I'm not sure if you have to replace those as well in order to use attain the maxiumum amount of light from the HID lights. Also I have heard that the light seems to disperse everywhere when HIDs are installed without changing the "coverings". Is that a problem or not really?
Thanks again!

olddog,
Im not sure why you're not getting a response at that number but worst case scenario, leave a voicemail and your message will be responded to shortly. The Xtreme kits are on special through the website. The XenonDepot line of products are not. The CL discount code will discount the price of the XenonDepot line however the Xtreme kits cannot go lower then they currently are on the website. This price is simply the best we can do on the product. In terms of Taxes, we do not charge US customers taxes. We only charge taxes if the shipping address is in Canada.
Lexus52,
No problem at all.
I think you may be referring to the projectors however those are sealed within the headlight. Our product is designed to work with your exisiting headlights/projectors. You do not need to change them. The kit will literally replicate your OEM beam pattern due to custom moulded bases and proper bulb fitment.
