i recently got my 6500k hid fog kit installed from xenondepot
everything looks GREAT..but
for some reason on start up and for the first 30 sec or so it seems like my headlights are flickering
could someone please explain to me why this may be happening?
if it were my fog lights i would question maybe something not being grounded properly, but its the head lights so...
thanks in advance for your inputs

well i looked again when they were flickering and noticed it was the bulb on the passenger side.
they stay on after about 30 sec.
i forgot to note that i purchased new 6000k hid bulbs from xenonvolent a month ago.
do you think that bulb is burning out already!?!?!

You know what mkim1120... i got my HID kit last week and mine do the EXACT same thing... mine are 8000k though, i dont think it makes a difference... im anxious to know what could be causing the flickering, and yah they do it about 30 seconds after power-up but mine both flicker one at a time...

ok well how about this. i have the stock '05 rx330 HID lights. my passeger side HID bulb is out. i tried switching the bulbs from the driver side just to make sure it was the bulb. and its NOT the bulb. so i put the good bulb back on the driver side and i turn my lights on to make sure it works on the driver side, and i notice all the rest of the lights on the passenger side flickering. could it be the ballast? is that why my HID bulb is out?

90% of the time if your aftermarket HID's flicker...then it's most likely that they are not getting enough power. You should upgrade to a relay harness if you're having that problem. The other solution is to get a more efficient ballast that can stabilize voltages better and uses less power so you can run off the stock harness.
