bulb ?

can i just buy a 6000k phillip bulb and put it in my stock housing, do i need a conversion kit, for 01 gs 300

If you're talking about an HID bulb then you will need the whole kit: ballasts, bulbs and wiring harness(not that you need to connect it but it is recommended).
