Default hid help

I have been bidding on ebay for hid conversion kits is there any ones in particular I should avoid and what should I look for ?

You can buy the conversion kit on ebay... personally i referred to xenondepot with the extream kit. I bought the kit for 250. I installed into my friend IS. It has been for more than a year now. Working great.

I dont know the kit on Ebay, some of them are good...

I got my HID kit for like 140 shipped and they work fine, same brightness as a friend who got prolumen which was 300. I have it for 6 months now, and they are bright still. I think for the most part, all the none brand HID kit are similar.

i think i have the bottom kit, the one with the yellow label. post a pic of the box it came in so i see if its the one i got.

I've had mine on the car for more than 1.5 years now.

hm.. the packaging looks different but the ballasts and the brackets for mounting the ballasts look the same.

sorry can't help you choose which one is better. i guess both are gonna be made in china..

btw the brackets help a lot in mounting them, its sometimes hard to find a good place to mount them.

huerdo623- looks like you'll need a wire harness to run that properly. you can chance it by hooking it up to your OEM headlight plugs but I don't think that'll work out too well in the long run.

My friend just bought these for his Caprice. He got the 6000K in a couple days for a little over a $100. I was amazed at the output. I might get them.
