Hey guys,
I was wondering if the stock HID ballast and plug will fit onto the back of a D2S bulb that is meant for A4/E46 projectors. I am looking at some Retro'd headlights but since his ballast blew out, it will not be sold. I am just wondering if I could use the stock ballast from my 98' HID equipped GS.

Should work, I'm using Denso ballasts for my LS430 retrofit. It fits both D2S and D2R.

it will work - the D2x bulbs all have the same back end plug.
