Default Mercedes Bixenon retrofit?

Hi

I have a 92 SC400 and I was wondering if the HIDs (BiXenon) found on 2005and up Mercedes C-class will fit on my headlights with some modification?

Thanks.

NO,they are to fat.
Your best bet is going with Audi TT projectors, with are the same as the E46.Use TSX projectors,E39 and the Audi A4.All will need some grinding done to them.

jess, since you said the e46, that means the e46 bi-xenon correct? those seems like they should fit but are a little long on the bulb end right? heres a link to what i plan on getting. btw, its for a 98 sc300 and do you have the adapter plate for these?

No, he means e46 bosch projectors. Why do you need bixenon when your high beam is independent of your low beam? Anyways, Im selling my set up since I sold my car.

not trying to thread jack, but im sure i want it done for the same reason jeslet wants it, more lighting for high beam is always a plus. why not? high beams will only be on if i need it and when nobody is in front of me. dual highbeam would be better than oem highbeam.

I don't really care about the highbeam from the bixenon, I just happen to have a set of C-class bixenon with ballast collecting dust.

I went with TSX retro.. it's a PITA, don't try it.

i did a retro on a 94 sc400, i stuffed 2004 audi A8 bi-xenon projectors in the headlights, it was tough, i did not however have to trim the trim inside the headlight.
