fogs are originally yellow because thats how fogs should be
yellow cuts through the fog and lights up the area better than other colours
but if u dont get fog in ur city then i would do HID @ 4300k or 5400k ish

I'd definitely say to go with 4300k HIDs. Here are some pictures to help you out. I never had yellow fogs but it's pretty 'yellow' hahaha
4300k low beam, stock fogs
4300k low beam & fogs

I had 4300k all around up until 2 days ago when I put in 3k in the fog lights... it just doesn't look as cool. I live in AZ and we don't get ANY fog so having fog lights is pretty silly especially if they're yellow since then it's more purposefully on due to fog. if I go back to 4300k, it just looks like I want as much light as possible which I do but in my case, I think the 3k fogs are pretty silly.
I'll leave them in for now but it's just silly. If I go to EOS, I'll show you.

Yellow fogs FTMFW! or Hid's that are yellow or pure white. Purple...blue?...that is the worst color suggestion I have heard....it's not an airplane...or is it?
Well if you really want to be original how about 12000K hid...that's like a laser beam....
