Default HID foglights question

So I got a set of H3 HIDs for my foglights for my 96 sc300. I wire them up correctly and they would not light up. I try them on my friends maxima and they work. I retry them and check my connections and still no luck. I was wondering if anyone knew the output of that connection. Maybe theres not enough voltage in that connection to fire it up. Any thoughts or ideas??

Foglight fuse? Did you ground it to the bare metal?

There is a ground wire. I plugged it in the exact same way on my friends maxima and it worked. I put my stock bulbs back and it works aswell.

I remember reading on another thread about how the wiring was switched on those plug and play kits. All you have to do is reverse them.

EDIT: Actually if it works on your friends Maxima the wiring should be right, so wire at your own risk.
