Electrical question regarding factory alarm light flash and HID
I temporarily have my HID foglights unplugged because I am afraid that I might damage my ballasts from the arm/disarm flashes that my factory alarm outputs. Everytime I arm and disarm my car, the HIDs in my foglights flash once or twice like a strobe.
The real question is, can I install some kind of an inline electrical component that "absorbs" the 12v current that my factory alarm outputs for that split second but still have a fully functional foglight system when I turn the switch on command? That way my foglights will not flash when I arm and disarm my car?
