I'll try to get some night time shots tomorrow night. Like I said, they're not as good as true HID projectors, but better then the stock halogens and better then my HID kit with stock reflectors.

I'll take a picture of the spacers that I didn't use. It might be difficult to get a good picture of how they are secured since I'd have to remove the lights to get a useful shot. Next time I take them out I'll snap some pics.

The McCulloch bulbs are 5000K. I started with the 6000K bulbs, but they were too blue in the stock reflector set up and bothered my eyes. I think they would be perfect in this set up.

The spacer is an a 1" in diameter aluminum tube 5/8 inch long.

I live in Needham, MA
So do you think our OEM HID bulbs will fit??

I love it but I wish it didn't have that gatling gun around the projector. But that's just my personal taste.

you want to make it look oem? take those projectors, out, put them in the trash, retro some s2k or tsx projectors in there, and put them in your stock housing to get ride of the trashy halo's. you'd be able to keep the projector shroud to make the headlights look more 'exciting' and then be able to have GOOD light output, rather than the ****ty light out put you are getting.

that cutoff looks like my stock halogen lights.

it also sounds like a stock HID bulb housing though, or maybe it's jdm h4h lol with the way you are describing how it's held on there.

+1

Where did you get them from?
And i think for 300, its not that bad at all..

and you didnt hookup the halos because you said u want to stick to the factory loook...is that the only reason?!

The headlights look very not OEM...so in my opinion I would just hookup the angels as well... just imo though

A couple of things.

1. I got these primarily because I had an HID kit and they sucked in the stock halogen housing.

2. I don't have the time, patience, equipment for a retrofit.

3. I think that retrofits look less OEM then these (except maybe the Q45). If I could keep the look of my originals and magically have them produce the projector output and projector look, I would have.

4. If I could get rid of the Angels and gattlin' gun look I would. However these are the ONLY projector lights for the 2GS

5. Angel eyes are great for BMWs and heavily modded cars. To your average person these lights do not look a lot different then stock (IMHO). You have to be a Lexus enthusiast or 20 feet from the car to notice the difference.

6. I never got any cutoff with Halogen OEM reflectors

7. Used OEM headlights cost as much as these, and even more in good shape. These would be a lot easier to retrofit in the future, if I so choose.
