Mine goes on and off as it pleases..I've been too bz to pay attention to that...but when i figure out what's wrong with the sucker I shall let you know..
Most likely...the bulb isn't in firmly..or the cable connecting into the bulb isnt in properly... i've been to bz to check it out but it's a common issue on the GS

i've done this mod to my gs3.. from experience.. white is the way to go.. it wont be white, white.. but a lil' darker.. i kept my visor lights stock so that we can use that light to actually see.. i can't imagine trying to read something in your car at night.. or even find something without having a flashlight handy.. i guess my preference is to be able to see in the car.. just a thought..

^Man I dunno what bulbs you used but all the lights in my car are white LED's and its 10 times brighter then it was before. One map light at night will light up my entire interior.
