HID Bulb Question

Hi,

i bought the DENSO 4800K D4R XENECO HID KIT from hidexpert.com and i was wondering if i can put D4S bulbs on and if so is it safe to do so?

Yeah, if you have a D4R/D4S ballast it will work. Problem is, a D4S bulb is designed for projectors and you're going to get more glare than you already have.

As long as he is putting these bulbs in a OEM Xenon reflector set-up, the increase in glare from a D4S to a D4R bulb won't be a problem.

If this is a rebased kit, then yes glare city here he comes!
