Well I finally had some time to install my HIDs on the fog lights. The total process took me 10 minutes. Seriously.
I took out my fog lights
Removed the bulbs
Attached the Ballasts to the power line where the bulbs used to be.
Connected the bulbs

Haha! I hope no one has ever attempted this, and then complained they broke their ballast!

That video took 3 takes so really, I'm pretty sure that ballast took 50+ hits.

firetora - those ballasts don't have the right circuitry inside them to keep a constant level of power to the bulbs which sometimes make them just turn off.
They ran dimmer than all the other ballasts and in real world testing would dim when the bass notes hit in the stereo system.
I have
BUCKETS of these sitting around and local CL member wildrice has picked up a few of these from me for less than that "special offer" on the BMW forums.
They've already been tested here - ballasts #9.

cliff i have them on my car, i find them great.
the other kits i see shown there are very cheap kits. jmo.

glad you've had luck with them. and yes, many of those kits in the picture failed our tests.
