LS400 H4/9003 Bi-Xenon HID Conversion
HI,
anyone has experience in converting their LS400 to H4/9003 Bi-Xenon HID?? I want to do a HID conversion but want to keep the high/low beam. So far I have see Single-Beam, High/low with Xenon and Halogen, high/low with a motorized cover, high/low with two xenon arcs, and high/low with a motorized moving bulb.
So i guess my questions is which one is the best and that actually works? and also what brand?
thanks a lot guys,
Charles

I would stay away from the Bi-Xenon kits with motors/motorized shields because they are prone to motor failure. The kits with halogens for highs would be your best bet IMHO. As for brands, it depends on color and how much you are willing to pay. Philips, XenonDepot, Mobile HID, or kits with Philips or Hella components is what I would go with.

I have a HID high/low kit that alters the angle of the bulb with a magnetic switch , have fitted three of them so far and mine has been on about 6 mths with no probs .
The quality of the kit is very very good , they now do a 55 watt kit as well .
The brand was JD or JDM , can't remember as I don't have the box's anymore , I have one of the 55 watt units coming so I'll post up some pic's when it arrives .

Be careful with high/low kits. Most of the are prone to failure.
Generally speaking, we have found that mechanisms using a moving bulb end up getting stuck.
Our H4 high/low kits use a completely different mechanism. We have been selling our h4 High/low kit for years and we have never had a mechanism fail.
