Default fog ? for hids for 2nd gs

for those who installed the hid kits in the fog housing , where are yall attaching the brain at. i duck tape mine in the bumper are there other ways, besides that. plz let me know.

I'm using zip ties onto the wires to keep them in place. Works like a charm

Make sure to fasten the ballest so that it does not bounce around and hit things. it will burn out very fast that way!!! Should be snug and secure.

okay thanks, i'll check out the duck tape this weak, i might have to try to make holes to screw it on.

+1 w/ zip ties. Just find a nice solid surface in there, and zip tie it horizontally and then vertically for a snug fit.

Hey for you guys that have done this, can you use the factory switch to turn on/off the fog HID's??

I'd be worried about the heat from the HID bulb inside that small fog housing. I remember rominal had one of his HID bulbs blow up in there.

I had mine zip tied to the bumper guard, not worries about moving around or getting wet

are there already holes in the bumper for the zip ties to go in, where can you buy zip ties at. i have not got the chance to see if the duck tape still is holding in place.

Any hardware store Home depot etc... I just bought the long ones, no holes on the bumper guard

1 more ? , did you remove the bumper or you stuck your hand through the housing.
