i did the same thing (re-sealing with black silicone) but still ended up with condensation later on. how many of you who have opened their headlamps have encountered condensation problems later on? it seems alot of you open it up and can put it back together without having any condensation problems at all. what's the trick here?

Yikes, I never cooked mine up to those temps. I used about 200-210 for about 8-12 mins. My friend, heh, he cooked his at 400+ and more or less melted his.
