Default Yellow Fogs?

Now that I have new headlight bulbs (see $375 for a Bulb???), I’d like to change the fog lights. Everything on my car is stock so the white fogs have that brown tint and don’t even come close to matching the headlights.

I’d like to get yellow fogs but they’re not sold in any of the local auto supply stores. I’d like to keep the specs the same as stock which calls for a 9006 51w bulb. Does anyone know of a specific brand or source I should be looking at? I looked at Ebay but there are all different brands at different specs (e.g. 6000K, 4300K, 3000K) and I can’t make sense out of it.

Thanks.

Thanks, but I don’t have HID fogs. I have stock halogen fogs that require a 51w bulb.

I take it that fog bulbs that indicate 3000K, 4300K or 6000K are for HID application only? Does anyone sell standard yellow bulb halogens?

Do you have the stock yellow fogs? if so, you do relize that a yellow cap is on top of the of the bulb that gives it the yellow color.

But if you have white fogs adn you want to conver to yellow output, your best bet is to buy a set of yellow fogs housing from the classifieds. There's a pair for 100shipped.

I have stock white fogs and I do not want to switch the lense covers to yellow.

I found these bulbs on ebay- 9006 HB4 NOKYA 2500K Hyper Yellow Head/Fog Light Bulbs Output Wattage: 70W Consume Wattage: 55W

They're $17.98 shipped. I'm going to give them a try unless anyone can suggest a better brand.

Thanks.

I bought a HID kit for my fogs and might install them this weekend if I do I'll try and take some pics for ya. So you can see the difference cause having HID fogs is way better than just yellow bulbs. In fact those bulbs you're looking at on ebay I just bought a set its alright but I'm running mine as my drl light so if I ever have to use my highs they'll be yellow and not white. In fact Happy es on here has HID fogs on his car now you should see if he has some pics for you to see.
