Gotcha, I was lookin around and I think I'm going with the Phillips bulbs for the LOWS..... That would make the blue tint more blueish than the factory, Right??

I love looking at all of these HID pics, thanks helo. I'm a fanatic for HID headlights and LED blinkers and tail lights. I don't really know why. I think I'm going to have to convert my halogens to HID and foglights too. I would suspect that having both lowbeams and foglights as HID's there is siginificantly less drain from the electrical system. Maybe to help offset a powerful sub?

Hey hleo1, very nice HID setup you got there. I was just wondering, are those genuine Plilips 6000K Ultinons you have??? and where did you purchase it and for how much???
Also, I just saw the pics you sent of the beam color against the wall. I was wondering if you can take picture of the different stages of color without the fog lights on. I would just like to see the actual color and beam spread of 6000K lowbeams.

Same like yourself, I am a fanatic about HID lights... HID actually only uses 35Watts of power compared to 55Watts from standard halogen bulb. The ballasts do the conversion and produce about 20,000 volts to pump up all the power into the HID bulbs.
You would need to upgrade the fuse amp of your foglights from 15Amp to 25Amp. The RX foglights use only 1 fuse (15Amp) to power Both foglights. So after changing the fogs to HIDs, you might want to upgrade the fuse. My 15Amp foglight fuse blewout, then 20Amp fuse also blewout, so finally 25Amp -- it's all good now.

Yes, they are the Genuine Philips Ultinons 6000K (lowbeam). I only had to buy the D2R bulbs since my car has the factory HID. The 2 bulbs cost me $280 from hids4less.com. Autolamps-online.com sells them for $290. Check around which one has stock. Both prices include shipping.

wait, hleo... so you are saying that if i install the hids on my low beam... everthing should be fine.. i dont have stock HIDS so yea..
how about my fog lights, i'm pretty sure i'm going to upgrade my foggies also after i have my lows for a while... will i need to change that amp also??
if so how would i go about doing that?

Since your car doesn't have factory HID, then you must be using 9006 bulb application for the lowbeam, exactly the same for your foglights.
So you would need to buy 9006 HID, and install them into your lowbeam, then everything will be fine and bright!
Your foglights also use 9006. So later if you decide to upgrade your fogs to HID as well, get the exact same kit for your lowbeams, since both of them use 9006. I don't know exactly how many amps your halogen lowbeams use, you can check in your owner's manual. If it's 15Amp (in my car) for each side (meaning 2 seperate fuses for both left and right lowbeams), then upgrade it one step to be 20Amp.
The foglights have only ONE fuse for both left and right sides. So in my experience, I'd have to upgrade the fuse 2 steps. The original foglight fuse was 15Amp, then I finally changed it to 25Amp (15Amp, 20Amp all blewout).
The fuse box for your lights (headlights & foglights) I believe is located on the left hand corner of the steering wheel. There's a small storage that we can pull out, and the fuse box is behind it (remove the storage carefully)... The fuse remover clip is located in the larger fuse box under the hood. Again, check your owner's manual...

Yes, you're actually right. They have 3 different fuse boxes for our car. 2 fuse boxes are in the engine bay, and 1 near the driver seat...
The fuses for lights are located in the box that's near the driver seat...
