XenonDepot vs. MobileHID for 6000k
Hey guys,
I really don't know whether to get XenonDepot or MobileHID for 2 things:
1) 6000k D4S Bulbs for low beams
2) 6000k for fogs
Can you guys rate you experiences in terms of color (for 6000k) and light output for both these brands please.
While XenonDepot is more expensive and only has 1 year warranty, it looks like their 6000k is more of a ice/blue color while MobileHID is a bit purpleish. (I prefer more of the blue color, not purple)
Thanks for your help

iskcon - I think steve and I sell pretty good products in general. We both wouldn't be in business if the case were otherwise. Whichever company you decide to do business with, I'm sure you'll be in good hands.
btw - 6k is the most popular color. in fact, I just had a customer call me today because he was so excited that his 6k kit lights up just like the cadillacs at the dealership where he works. haha.

I choose xenondepot. just because I had past experience with them. I use to have their 6000k HID on my old car for 3+ years. HID was A++ Looks awesome too. Also my friend has them on his 335 for 2 years. He had no problems.

Both are Great! Like Cliff said they both wouldnt be around if that isnt the case.
I purchased HID fog kit from Mobile HID was very pleased with the service and product!!
I purchased 6k HID bulbs to change out my OEM bulbs from Steve at XenonDeopt! Great guy and service!
You cant go wrong with either and it helps out our community!

I just put 6000k d2r's and fogs in my 2GS from mobilehid, they look great. I'd say they are more blue-ish rather than purple-ish, there's a little hint of purple at extreme angles but they're more blue. I'm gonna try to get some pics tonight for another thread so I'll put them up here too if they come out well.
You can't go wrong with either store.

You're kinda tripping me out though, I just went out and looked at them and now I see a little bit more purple. I'm not sure if it's just cause I've got the idea in my head or if it's in contrast to the new LED's I just put in the wedge bulbs. I just put the bulbs in a week or so ago and they'd always seemed blue. I tried to get some pics but my camera sucks, I'm not sure if anything turned out good enough to post up.

i have bought HID from both and can't say enough good things about them.
Their customer services are unmatched in the industry
but compare side by side, Xenondepot is bluer than MobileHID
My fogs are Philips ultinon and they are on the purple side as well.
not to mention MobileHID is 5 miles from me, can't beat that
