Default DIY Undercar LED lighting?

Under car /Under body leds/ lighting?

I saw one thread about using Screw LED's but that's about it? Someone has got to know?

I just want to run 4 LED's under each of the side skirts?
What kind of LED's should I use?
Where are they cheap to buy from??
And how could I wire it to my dome lights (to come on and off with the alarm)
And then a separate auxiliary light switch?

Only use what you want. They should be able to be hooked up however you want.

What kind of LED's should I use?
Look for Puddle light kits. You can check the usual online auction site or some VIP car part sites.

Where are they cheap to buy from??
Online auction site

And how could I wire it to my dome lights (to come on and off with the alarm)
Hook them up to the dome light power wire. then they will be controlled by the door switch and dome light switch. If you mean blinking with the alarm they can be hooked up to the parking lights but that will look kind of silly to me.

And then a separate auxiliary light switch?
Just put the aux switch in the power wire between the puddle lights and the dome light. This will allow you to bypass the dome light when you want them off.

If you are looking to have full on off and auto dome light control you will need a three way switch with On (dome power), Off (no Power), and ON (dedicated battery power). This of course involves more wiring.

Here you go. They are relatively cheap and they turn on / off with the alarm.

The Dome light power wire should do this for you.
