Sorry, but I have to ask a dumb question . After installing LED's on the dash/instrument cluster, are they still controlled by the factory dimmer switch? I know, some of you are laughing, sorry, but I have to ask . I don't think there is any limitations and would like to know before I start this mission.

Yes they are , but there not as controlled as the stock ones from my experience, U can still turn them off by dimming them all the way, Depending on the color the level of dimness will vary, on my red Lights (Cluster gauge) the dim is not noticeable till halfway, so It depends but overall yes
