So one of my fog lights isn't working....
I purchased an HID kit from Mobile Hid, thus far haven't had a problem over a year with the kit it self, but now it's turning its' ugly head.
About a month ago I went to PA to see my cousin. While there, we went into the rural side with no street lights. Had to put on my high beams, since using my fogs and low beams wasn't enough. Every time I went around a corner, had to flash my lights a couple of times.
Before I left my cousins house, I noticed that one of my fog lights wasn't working. Checked the fuse, fine. The bulbs, fine. Switched the ballasts, they both seem to work. In another car, they both work fine.
What could be the problem? I'm doing simple plug and play. No extra wires or anything else.

GS400RcrX - you didn't use a wire harness with your installation? the thick style ballast is not designed to be connected without a wire harness.
louisgs400 - please check my sig for a deal on mobilehid.com lights.
These are the new ballasts that are offered:

I'm going to try to use the harness probably over the weekend or something whenever I'm free. Cliff, I've already tried switching the ballasts as well as the bulbs. Only one side seems to work when I switch the ballasts, either left or right. As of now, only the right side works.

Alright, so I tried the HIDs on my brothers' car with the harness, and no go on one ballast. So it isn't my car Cliff :P I checked the relay on the harness, and it's fine. Used the plug and play method, and one ballast still fails.

*sigh*
The reason why the wire harness was included with these older style ballasts is because you were supposed to use them.
Sent you a PM so we can hopefully get you up and running PROPERLY...
PK - yep, it's not good to keep turning them on and off within a short amount of time.

I'll hook you up with a sweet price for a pair of digital ones (sent you a PM).
As far as honoring a warranty for a product that was intentionally installed incorrectly despite having the necessary wire harness on hand, no can do, sorry bud.
