98-05 SportDesign radio swap?
I want to switch my stereo/HVAC face color from black to silver. Obviously a swap with a SportDesign owner would be ideal; but I don't foresee that being very easy.
So I'm wondering if anyone's ever removed just the faceplate of their stereo or HVAC unit? I would then either have the plates professionally painted or maybe I could order SportDesign faces from Lexus.
Are the stereos interchangeable among all 2nd gen GSs? I may've found someone willing to trade a SportDesign stereo for my Nakamichi stereo--is this a direct swap?
