Default Dangerous Suggestion

I successfully modded my 98 GS400 to do something similar with fogs lights on high and low beam and posted it here a few weeks ago. That used a single diode between two connections on the light switch.

To keep the fog lights on with the parking lights (and high and low beam) try this variation:

• On the light switch connect the –ve end of a diode (1amp / 50V or similar) between pin 11 (or 18, as they are looped) and the +ve end to pin 15

(18 grounds with low beam only, 15 grounds with parking lights, 11 is fog control (via light ECU)

BEWARE I haven’t tried it so be careful. Can someone with experience of car electrics verify that this works? I wouldn’t normally post something I haven’t tried but this seems a lot easier. I do not know how much in common other years and models have for light switches but assume that it is a lot.[B]
