hey how did u mount those Map lights into the housing? i got the same ones and it wont fit like how u did yours.
also, i got the city lights too and one is more blue and one is more purple. do u think its defective?
one more question: those leds that go into the city lights are only one way connection right? (as in + and -)
my drivers side is able to reverse and work but my passenger isnt. did that happen to you?

I also have the same set up for the HID low / Fog lights. I have the same MTEC HID kits that I sell and I have to be honest its a HUGE difference at night.

I have been thinking of adding an HID kit to the High Beams also, since I do a lot of night driving from Miami to Orlando.

I got my high beam HID kit from V-LED.com link that you had posted and they did not work out. I think it is either the bulb or the ballasts. I have sent an email regarding this issue to V-LED customer service. We'll see what kind of customer satisfaction they have.

Did you have any issues installing the High Beams?

i had the same problem with their hid kit. they sent me replacement bulbs but it didn't work, i think its a problem with the ballast. so, i felt more comfortable in returning the kit (no problems refunded) and placed an order with xenondepot..which cost $51. more but made of better quality.

are you talkin about it not working as a DRL? or as a high beam?

also if try crossing the wires.. sometimes for some reason you might get a ballast that is reversed. happened twice.

oh when you ordered yours did you get any that didn't work? i know you can plug them up and flip them around if they don't work but out of 24 bulbs i have had 2 not work. not really a big deal as they sent me the first one free and im gonna let them know bout this one and hopefully they will take care of it.

ALSO i have to get the part # but all 2001 + use a different reverse bulb then yours...and i will try and get you a new part # if you wanna update your post...if not that's cool too. either way glad u did this, im ALMOST done with all of mine. i have decided to do some foot lights, like you did, can i make a quick disconnect like you did or can i but some from someplace?

as sam said...with the right bulb they are all plug and play. i updated jacksons thread with the RIGHT dome light as he isnt answering pm's or updating this and the right reverse bulb for the 2001 is any 921 led or this page...the one he listed wont work on the 2001+ models..

brake light went out today. Was not completely out but very dim...when the brake pedal is depressed, it doesn't get any brighter.

EDIT: it came loose... still works.

Hey, sorry I'm so late to this thread, but I do have a couple of questions.

1) How did you manage to fit these huge "start" bulbs into your housing?

2) Wouldn't it be a better idea to get white leds for brakes, since they are brighter? Since the brake housing is red anyways, the light output would've still been red, but much brighter?
