I read and do research and only one person claim that he install the HID kit (xtreme from xenondepot) with no relay and after one year with no flicking, or problem light up. But it's only one person. So I want to know this. Really apprieciate if you guys can help me
What is your HID kit from: name, brand... etc?
Do you install with or without relay to battery?
If with relay, do you do it yourself or have some professional do it for you?
Do you experience and problem with lighting or any thing happen after installing the HID kit?
How long do you have the HID for?
What bulb temp. color and is it for Fog or headlight?
What car do you have?
(if you have install two different kit, it will be great if you make two set of answers)
Here my own respond:
I have installed an HID kit before for my 06 accord coupe for headlight and it flicking, take several time on-off switch to be on and later just go out as please. Didn't know that relay may solve problem before so I stop trying install aftermarket HID and just use car with OEM hid until now. I want to install HID for fog light for my 09GS350. Already have in my hand the extreme HID 3000K from xenon.
(Too bad, it took to long to get deliver and now it's so cold out there. Today is the only day I have some freetime and it's around 36 but raining and the garage have water all over the place.
From tomorrow on, it's single digit degree so I afraid my butt will be frozen before I finish install my HID. )

Hi to a fellow Minnesotan!
I'm ready for winter to be done already, I hate this weather.
Did the xenon depot kit not come with a wiring harness?
Here's what I've got right now:
mobilehid 6000k kit in 2GS fog lights
with wiring harness and relay from mobilehid
Works perfectly, no problems flickering or turning on
I installed myself, simple and straight forward installation
I feel safer with the relay as the stock wiring wasn't meant to handle the power that it takes to fire up the HID's. Granted it's only for a brief time when you turn them on and plenty of people have used them with no problems, but I'd be concerned about how those wires would hold up long term. The harness is pretty simple to hook up and the peace of mind is well worth it IMO.

it come with 2 light bulb, 2 ballast, 2 relay harness, and a glove. I would prefer install harness but i have never deal anything with wiring in the car before. Try to see if I can by pass it with peace of mine.

I had a kit with the thick Philips ballasts, no relays, no direct connection to the battery in my old Integra. I had them installed for 3 years with no problems.
I now have a XD kit with the slim Philips ballasts in my 2IS, with wiring harness, fuse connected directly to the battery. Half the time, the passenger side doesn't fire up.
