How to change d2r bulbs ?

if they are anything like D2S...which I'm pretty sure they are, then you would have to disconnect the ballast from the bulbs, then remove the clip that holds the bulb in place.

it wont affect the auto leveling. Just remove the silver bulb plug, pull away the clip that holds the bulb in place, and pull the bulb away from the reflector. Then just do the opposite when putting the new bulb in.

You shouldn't need to disconnect the battery at all...unless you are gonna stick a screw driver into the socket...then maybe you might need to disconnect the battery. You just need to unclip and remove bulb..then clip the bulb back. No special tools needed.

Hey GS4_Fiend,
I just changed my bulbs using this DIY,
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...placement.html
This DIY is a stickey in the 2nd gen GS forum. That thread is an excellent resource for DIYs.
The hardest part is removing the plastic grey cover. Small hands will help a lot.
Good Luck!
