hello, did anyone know how to disable the DRLs on 2006 ls430. can anyone help? thank you

Yes, unplug the bulb from the top of the housing. The bulb stays in, and the DRL's are off.

You want them back on, simply plug it back in, and done!

 

ok thanks. but that will disable the hi-beam too, right? I want only the f..king DRLs gone!!!

 

my other car is 05 is300, it only take 5 sec. to do it.

 

A Lexus dealer or any repair shop with the appropriate hand held scan tool and program card can turn off the DRL and customize many other features. I would attach the complete list of customizable features but the size of the PDF exceeds the maximum allowed for this forum.

I hate to see people turn DRL off but it's your call. One thing I like about the way Lexus implemented DRL is that the DRL provides enough light in tunnels and underground parking lots until the regular headlights automatically turn on.
