don't use 85112+ if you want more of a blue-ish look. The + is even more yellow than the 85122...
Never go with a "kit". Go with oem products. Denso or hella ballasts with philips bulbs.
The standard lexus uses philips 4300k bulbs (slight yellowish look...). I'd recommend going with philips ultinon 6000k just for the added blue/violet you mentioned. It's what i'm using- see my signature and aviator for the color output.

huh? I'm pretty sure the color he is looking for is overall light output color not just a funky colorband.
The bulb is what creates the overall output color. Stock Lexus' use 4300k bulbs, which are still too yellow at least to me they are (and assuming to 97 sc here...). That's why i suggested going with 6000k bulbs because their output will be a little more light blue/violet without being too ricer or loosing TOO much light.
The blue line across the cutoff is created by lens spacing inside a projector. Not sure that's what he's talking about. but still, it's pretty damn cool.
Here are a few pics of my ls460 projectors after lens spacing and 6000k bulbs. The general output is slightly blue (more so than 4300k) and right along what's called the "cutoff line" there is a thick band of blue. When someone drives towards me, my headlights appear to "flicker" between white, violet, blue etc. sort of like the 03+ Maxima's.
