Default Color bulb on Color lens question

Does putting a colored bulb (say yellow HID) behind a colored lens (also yellow) intensify color/light output? This ones been bothering me for a while...

The color will be slightly darker and give off less lumens of output. The color will be 'richer' going through two filters.

Oo, that is good to know. I was considering 4300k behind my yellow projector fogs but now I'll stick with 3000k

Yeahhh.. if you go with a white bulb (like 4300k) behind a yellow lens, the emitted color will be bleached out. It won't be very rich in color =/
