Is it relatively easy to replace the lowbeam headlamps with the blue tint bulbs??? I want them bad. Similar to the Acura lamps.
I have a 97 ES300

THey should be easily installable, you will have to get a confirmation of ease from a 97-00 owner, but should be easy. I hear many compare the lights to an acura, i would muc rather have them look like a mercedes or BMW, or better yet, an LS. acura doesn't have as good of system as the upper brands. So I have heard, and they don't have auto leveling like the LExus>?

they won't melt your sockets unless you go crazy. you can buy a safe 55W bulb from philips or from sylvania that will have that tint to it, and would be the same wattage as your current bulb. you can go for a brighter 85w bulb. it only draws 3 amps extra so you should be fine. there are wiring harnesses available for $40 that will let you upgarde the wattage your car can handle.
i would have to say though, that i am yet to see the car that will fool anyone into thinking you have a real HID system. you can tell a knockoff from a mile.
i would stay a way from PIAA bulbs b/c they are not worth it.

HID
I am not trying to fool anyone into thinking that I have HID system. I just wanted xenon bulbls. It makes my car look much better, and with the clear corners, even better. My regulars are 55W and my brights are 65W, I didn't even think of putting in the 85W... Do the 85W melt the wiring. What does everyone have in their highs and lows? I might want to have higher wattage, I want the bulbs to be brighter. THe brighter they are, the more blue.

mine is a 2002 model, so i have hid for lows, everything else is stock. i would like to know what bulb gs and rx 470 use for their yellow fogs. hid is too reflective in the rain, i'd like to replace my fogs with yellow ones to help me see better.

From an automotive lighting expert:
"Sylvania SilverStar is just another blue-coated, short-lived piece of trash. Shame on Sylvania. I guess I can't blame them for realising that there is a lot of money to be made on high-priced,
short-lived, low-performance bulbs hyped as high-performance bulbs, and with the "nifty kewl" blue colouration, but shame on them regardless. They did not build their good reputation on junk products like this.
Note that this is NOT THE SAME product line as the European Osram SilverStar, which is a super-high-performance, NON-blue-coated, good-quality bulb. Osram SilverStar bulbs are available only in H4, H1 and H7, not in US types 9004, 9005, 9006, 9007."
The Sylvania XtraVision is supposed to be one of the best aftermarket replacement bulbs in terms of light output, not coolness of color.
Oh, and consensus amongst a couple automotive lighting experts is that PIAA bulbs are overpriced junk.
