I purchased from HidExtra 9005-6000K Automobile Xenon HID Conversion Kit. I wanted to install this on my 2000 Lexus GS300 to run my drl. I read somewhere that hids are not recommended as drl's....is this true?

I heard that the DRL's will be as bright as high beams

Default No DRL after HID installed

I called Michelle and told her that I wanted to make sure that the HID will work as my DRL. She told me after I installed it, not to switch to "auto". After installing the hids, I can only make it work when I click the high beams. No light when the switch is set to off (where the drl's usually kick in), or on auto.....Hids will only come on when hi beam is clicked. Will call for a return.

Hey All, Michelle ROCKS! She is patient and strives to make you happy with your purchase. I am going to do something different with my DRLs. Michelle made me comfortable with purchasing from HidExtra. Thanks Again Michelle!

Just ordered a 5k kit for my '06 is250 awd.
Michelle was of great help, fast and very polite.
Excited to get these and to take pix. Thanks!

Quick question, will i have to cut my existing wiring? Or into the back of the cover to the lamp housing? I have read with some cars that people have to do this! Everywhere i read, it says "plug and play"

here is my hid fog kit from hidextra, the d4s 8000k bulb didn't work for me and they were replace by the dealer when the car went in for service so i couldn't get a refund. the bulbs were replace with oem and so i bought a set of garax d4s which made me happy. other then that the hid conversion kit is great.

here is a couple more pics in the dark.

Hi Michelle,

I would like to make sure the Kevlin before i place the order. Please kindly refer to the link below to your website -

http://www.hidextra.com/HID+Conversi...rsion+Kit.html

I got 2008 IS250 (With halogen capsule headlamps)

So i will need the following -

H11 Low Beams, 9005 High Beams, 9006 Fog Light am i correct? do i need relay for any of them?

Base on the link above the Kevlin indicate 10000K is Diamond Blue and 13000K is Deep Blue. I thought 10000K is Deep Blue. Do you have any images for show the Kelvin between 10000K and 13000K? when i try to pick the 13000K there is not available, only 12000K available.

You answer would be much appreciated!!

Thanks a lot!
