You don't need the relay~

bulb types like H4, 9007, 9004 and H13 are dual beam bulbs.
You have two choices (hi/lo and bi-xenon)
hi/lo means your low beam is HID and high beam is Halogen because this bulb type has two bulbs in one bulb base to go from low to high beam.
And the bi-xenon means both your low and high beams will be HID.

I received my kit last week, it came with H4 bulbs. Can someone confirm that I need the HID relay harness. These kits are advertised having "all necessary hardware" and "installation manual". I didn't get an installation manual and the HID low didn't work cause it appears I may need a relay harness.

I need this confirmed before I order the relay harness.

Thanks.

If it's low beam not working for both sides, that means you need to reverse the wire harness. Email me at info@hidextra.com and I'll get you the diagram to show you how to reverse them.

could be ballast or bulb. go ahead and interchange the bulb to the other side and see if the problem follow the bulb or ballast. email me the result at info@hidextra.com and i'll get you warranty process instruction.

Hey Michelle,
I have a 2006 Lexus IS250, my headlamps are not currently HID so I want to upgrade to the 6k, I have no idea which bulbs I need to get and I was wondering if because I do not currently have bixenon lights if I can upgrade to them? Or can I only upgrade my low beams. Also when I upgrade my low beams will my hi-beams still work, I had heard some stories that the Lexus is250 would lose its hi-beams function if the low-beams were upgraded to HID aftermarket... Thanks for the help.

2006 LEXUS IS250, IS350 (With halogen capsule headlamps)
Low beam headlamp
H11
High beam headlamp
9005
Fog/Driving light
9006

For your car, there is no bixenon kit available. If you like to convert both your high and low beam into HID, you need 2 kits. One for your low beam and one for your high beam. When you convert the low beam into HID, your high beam will stay as it is now and you will not lose the high beam function at all. Here is the link for H11 6000K on our web site: http://www.hidextra.com/h11-6000k-au...ersion-kit-367
